What is the battery group number for a 02 SRT-10??

1993-2002 RT-10 size 78. 2003+ SRT-10 size 34. I just bought one optima battery for my 05 srt-10 from viper club of america for 110$. Good price for optima battery. normally 149$+.

I'd recommend the OE battery, an Interstate battery or a Die Hard.

I tried an Optima in my 04 SRT-10 and it failed prematurely.

When I asked DC Performance about it, they said that Optima's don't seem to work very well or last very long in Vipers.

Whatever battery you buy, be sure to buy a Battery Tender and keep the car on the tender when not in use.  This will increase battery life 50% to 100%.
