Hey Dan,

Does Fontucky have an actual dragstrip now or is it still a blocked off part of the parking lot? Would this be a track rental or would we be sharing the track with the general public?

Hey Matt,

Auto Club Speedway at Fontana has a very well set up drag strip.

If we can get enough guys together, we'd rent the track.

Running with the "general public" can be challenging.

Challenging to say the least. If it's anything like LVMS, the only time worth going when the track is open to the public is the evening TnTs. The midnight mayhem events are totally overcrowded and the track gets bad quickly because every FWD rice-boy wants to pretend he's John Force and do a completely unneccessary run through the bleach box which, of course, leads to their rears carrying a bunch of water onto the launch pad and the first bit of the track.

BTW: is there any final word on dragging at VOI?

Hey Matt,

I'll be running the ACR with the wing (more drag) ..... and I'm old ..... is that enough of a "dial in"?

BESIDES, the bet will be huge, like a bowl of ice cream?

Hell, I'm old too and I doubt that extra drag will account for the 100 RWHP difference but I'll run ya anyway.

Do you know if they're going to prep the track at all this time? At VOI.9 there was no track prep at all.
