Every year Nino and Ruth invite the Club up to their beautiful home for a great spread of food and drink. They are great hosts and cooks, and I look forward to this event every year. As in the past, we will meet in Corona and Richard will lead the group on a nice cruise up to Oak Tree Village. From there it is a short ride down to Nino and Ruth’s place.

Thank you Glenn and Stephanie for planning a great event up in the Ventura area. Everyone who came out was treated to a well planned event. As we checked in, we were all given a plush stuffed viper and a special commemorative bracelet. Very cool touch! We took a really nice cruise down into Camarillo to have breakfast at the airport and of course we got the special parking out on the grass next to the airfield. After a great meal, we headed over to the Mullin Automotive Museum. What an incredible collection of cars and what a treat to hear about all the history behind each car. Thanks again for all the hard work that Glenn and Stephanie did to make such a great event for us all to enjoy.
*** In October we will be traveling to Sedona to do a joint event with our friends in the Arizona Club. They have been working hard to set everything up and we already have quite a few members signed up for this event. We have made special arrangements with the Talking Stick Resort as our host hotel. The first block of 10 rooms has already been reserved at a rate of $125.00/night. We were able to talk them into holding the rate for the next few weeks at $125.00 but as we draw closer to October the rates WILL GO UP. Please check your calendars and make your reservations early. This will be a very fun trip that you won’t want to miss out on. We are also pre paying for the dinner and lunch so that we can reimburse the Arizona Club. DEADLINE is OCTOBER 14th.
