Y'all left a man behind!  >:(

On a Marine Base no less! :'(

You left a man AND HIS VIPER behind.. on a Marine Base!  With a trunk full of chicken breasts..

What was that, some kind of cruel Viperirony? ("Viperirony" - Trademark Viperbase1 2018.)

Can't NOT be there!   Seein' how it's in my own backyard.

My house is 5 minutes from the Vandergrift Gate.

*  Any members need a place to stay Friday/Saturday night, just say the word.
*  Could prolly squeeze a couple more Vipers in the garage.
*  Happy to host a gathering / after party on Saturday.

Would LOVE to see my street get zoo'd out with Vipers!

Hey for those of us that didn't make it,  how about posting the agenda of what was covered.. or maybe send out/publish a Tips & Tricks doc for the membership.   Or Video..  Eh?

;) Glad you are coming Mike.
What is up with your clutch?

Just have the sense that it's slipping a bit, that's all.  No big surprise.

Its the original OEM clutch with 26K miles.
Car has close to 700hp.  Was a little over 700 when I got it.
Been tracked plenty (Drag [10.43@134mph] & road course COTA X4 & Big Willow)
TONS of Roll Racing.
Plenty of street dominance.  ;D

Got a look at the clutch before the purchase last Mar. (for the trans refresh & ACR 5th gear) and it was a little more the 50%.

So...  add a newb on the pedals for 9 months.. carry the one..  divide by zero => Prolly time for a new Clutch!

I'm eye ballin' a McLeod from SPT.  Or just hangin' with another OEM.  Dunno.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.  8)

Lance pinned me down, twisted my arm and made me commit.
So I'm in.

Might not drive the Viper though.  Little concerned about my clutch.

Dittos.  Nice vid!
I'll try and get mine done by the weekend.

Really good times.
Huge thanks to Randy for all the hospitality.

Wow, this getting big.

What about parking at Randy's house on the hill?  Am I gonna have to use my parking break!? :)

The VARA event which is their 2 day driving school would be a great idea for you Mike. I went to 3-4 different driving schools when I first started tracking and highly recommend it.
I'm not sure which track event i'm Doing next but Buttonwillow is my favorite local track so i'd like to get out there again soon. I'll post up when we go next. Thanks
Hey thanks Ben.
I couldn't agree more.  I need more HPDE, practice/experience and I'm eager to get out there again.

Hey Mike,
I know some of the guys are going to ButtonWillow  with SpeedVentures on Jan 27-28.
We have not run with VARA, although I know a bunch of guys in that organization and they run a great event.

Sounds good thanks!

I've decided to stick to my plan and get another set of wheels w/Toyo's before my next Track event.
Will AutoX till then.

Hey if anybody is looking to sell a set of wheels in Jan., lemme know.  Already have the EBrake Re-Location kit and should be able to handle 18's (with a tweak or two).

Keep an eye on the SoCal website
We have a pretty cool events calendar in the works and will try to get it published very soon.

I can tell you that the first event in January will be down in San Diego so that will be very convenient for you
In San Diego?!!  Awesome!!

Hey if you're looking for a post-event place to meet, I know this great little Bar & Grill that'd be perfect.
The owner is a total gear head and would love to see his parking lot full of Vipers.

True Confession..  I've been scheming to organize an event at this place with a focus on the San Diego Viper crowd.  But hey the more the merrier.

Hey anybody going?
Anybody been to this event?    https://www.vararacing.com/university-of-vara-2017
Sounds like it's managed a bit like the West Coast Racing event at Big Willow.

I know Ben has posted about Buttonwillow.

What say ye?

Thanks!
