Also, I am always interested in the best driving roads around.  I find Highway 39 and The Angeles Crest Highway great places for a weekend drive.  Any others?

I went to Cars & Coffee in San Clemente a couple days ago (Sept. 9).  I'm standing there cleaning up my 98' GTS when another Viper pulls in next to me.  A 94' RT/10.  Turns out it was another club member named Mike.  Always nice to meet a member of the group. 

In all there were 3 Vipers at the show out of about 300ish total cars.  The remaining Viper was a 01' Final Edition GTS.  I never got a chance to meet the owner of that one though.

There was another gentleman there who owns a 97' GTS but apparently it is not running.  I referred him to Dan.  He knew of him but didn't want a $100 tow bill.  Hopefully he will get it in the shop and we'll get to see it soon.

Not sure what event I'm heading to this weekend, maybe just a canyon run.  If anyone would like to get together or have any event recommendation, just let me know.

Met up with another club member to go to a car show today. Neither one of us had ever been to this show before. It was very small. Only about 10 to 15 cars in total. Are there any shows in Southern California that are typically fairly large in your recommendation? The Cars and Coffee in Costa Mesa sometimes has 100 to 200 cars. I've heard good things about the Aliso Viejo show as well. Thoughts?

Thinking about heading to a car show on Saturday in OC, anyone want to join?

I've been a member of the Orange County Viper Club since December but sadly have not been able to attend any events. I would really like to meet everyone sometime soon. I looked through the upcoming events in the forum here and it looks likes most events are at least several weeks away if not into July or August. Is there anything coming up in the last weekend of May or early June?
