Cars and Coffee in Orange county has had many homes, but for varying reasons they always get shut down.
Our very own Newport Viper has done extensive due diligence and has found a new home for a monthly gathering of Supercars that will no longer have to worry about getting shut down. 

From David:

"This will be a re-occurring monthly gathering of Supercar Enthusiasts at Huntington State Beach. The meet will be on Sunday January 14th from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. This event is fully approved & permitted by the California Department of Parks and Recreation. I developed this event with the input of the City of Huntington Beach and the willingness of the State to allow growth in its 1,000+ space parking lot. As car meets continue to get pushed out of existing venues, I was seeking a permanent solution in a scenic place, for all to enjoy for decades to come.

The best way to enjoy the event is to purchase the Annual State Parks Pass (good at all parks statewide) or there is a $15 day use pass to get into the park.

A couple of quick details:
Parking will be reserved for each meet (Plenty of room for trucks and trailers).
Enter at Magnolia & PCH.
The Park prefers cash but, does have credit card capability at entry.

This will be a recurring event every 2nd Sunday of the month.

Please note that next month will be a special day for the Vipers as we will have special parking blocked out for us on the second Sunday of February

Those that reply here are registered for all meets moving forward. This meet is reoccurring on the second Sunday of each month through August 2018. Starting in September 2018, the State will then let the meet go bi-monthly on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. In the long term I am looking to go weekly in 2019. We have the ability to add additional meets through August 2018 as long as they have a charitable cause. If you have a cause that you would like considered, please let me know. The first 3 meets are Sunday Jan 14th, Feb 11th and Mar 11th. The show goes on fog, rain or sun as permits & insurance are non-refundable. Currently, times are 6:30am to 9:30am.

Enter HB State Beach at PCH & Magnolia. Keep in mind there are two ways to be admitted by $15 day pass or $195 annual pass. Please come to your first meet with exact change for both, it will help speed us through the gate.

Every collector type car can be a "Supercar". Please get the word out to your friends with classics too!

Rules:
Obey all traffic laws coming and going from the meet.
No burnouts or engine revs of course. The Park Rangers will ask you to leave.
The City of HB and CA Parks will have officials in attendance.
The invitation is not currently available to motorcycles.
Spectators are welcome and, we have additional parking for them.

Keep in mind that this is a place that a meet can literally go on Forever.
Please respect that.
