I can’t believe how fast the calendar has been flying by. It seems like just yesterday when I took possession of the Club’s Gavel. Thank you ALL for the awesome support, help and participation. Despite the harsh economic times and no new Viper, our region has endured and enjoyed a lot of excitement as we waited faithfully for the introduction of the Gen V Viper. We have many new enthusiastic members and new events still coming up in the future. In order to keep the health and enthusiasm of the Club fresh and vibrant, I truly believe that we must keep moving forward with new Officers at the top. I know it would be extremely difficult if all 4 officer positions changed out at once. Nino and Art have agreed to stay on for one more term. They do an incredible job and take a huge burden off the the President’s position. Nominations for President and Vice President are now open and I encourage you to step up and help our Club continue to grow.

The Car Control Clinic

We had a great day out at the Pomona Fairplex where we held our Car Control Clinic. This event was introduced to the Club by Dan & Cathy in 2008 and has continued to be a huge hit with our Members. The focus is on educating our Members on the driving characteristics of the Viper through hands on driving drills. This year we set up 3 stations to push the limits of the car and driver. Bob Blizzard and Mark Sundberg came out to help instruct and everyone had a great time. Congratulations to Ben Kawata 1st place Unlimited class, Eddie Arguelles 1st place Modified class and Scott Hirko 1st place Stock class for their excellent times on the Auto-x. All our drivers did a great job and we look forward to doing this again!
